Job Summary/Overview
The position is responsible for the safe, productive operation and daily maintenance of mobile equipment in the quarry
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Adhere to and follow all safety rules and regulations per working site ( MSHA/DOT/DEP/OSHA)
· Adhere to and follow all company safety rules and regulations
· Preform daily pre-shift inspections on equipment
· Maintain all fluid levels, grease, and fuel equipment at the end of shift
· Operate excavators, loaders, and/or other heavy equipment to excavate, move, and load
material
· Assist with plant repairs and plant maintenance, such as cleaning up in and around the plant and quarry as directed
· Fill in as needed at any position in the quarry
· Turn in maintenance requests daily
· Keep cab of equipment clean and litter free
· Involved with the training of new coworkers in the safe operation of equipment
· Other duties as assigned

· Good communication skills

· Ability to work in outside weather conditions
· Ability to work to strict deadlines
· Ability to take and follow direction
· Sound understanding of health and safety codes
· Ability to work hours when schedule may vary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
